Big day today. Headed down the south coast. Visited the wooden boat museum and training school and saw some boats under construction. Bought more cherries and apricots. Visited Franklin, Southport, Geeveston all the way down to the most southern point of Australia at Cockle Creek. Saw an amazing whale sculpture on the site. The coastline is dotted with magnificent bays and beaches with small communities all along some without power just solar and generator. Returning to the north we had a great lunch at Ides Bay and then back to Geeveston to access the Tahune Forest Airwalk. The 75m Airwalk is a walk 20m above and among the rainforest with amazing straight trees, ferns, bushes and flowers. The fear of heights was very much present with both of us so we congratulate each other for being so brave. Finished the day with the worst meal and service I have ever had - Paddy Wagon Irish Pub at Glenorchy - highly NOT recommended.  Tomorrow leaving Hobart for the west coast.
