Travelled to Bruny Island today. To get there, we caught the ferry across, about a 20 min trip. Then we continued around the island, starting at the top, stopping at Dennes point for brunch. To get there was a windey road, about half of which was gravel. Great views of the channel and islands. Great sites for a house well away from crowds. On to the Neck Penguin Rookery and those 100+ steps to the lookout. Then on to Captain Cook landing sites of 1777, and then on to Cape Bruny. We climbed the hill to the lighthouse, but first, we had to deal with a sleeping Tiger snake. While Bob walked past it, took the photo,  Roberta took the long way - way, way round past the snake.
